What languages do you support?

Languages are supported differently based on the use case and the associated PRSONAS product. Please read for full details.

The answer is more complex than initially apparent. Let's start with the explanation of each of the uses of language in a PRSONAS unit:

1) Understand Speech: The ability to recognize a spoken language and understand intent. PRSONAS has the ability to recognize spoken language from a large number of languages. Your specific PRSONAS software will be configured to allow users to select between those languages you elect to support. Each language has additional resource requirements and associated costs. Recommend best practice is to deploy all languages spoken by more than 5%  of the population where PRSONAS is deployed.

2) Deliver Speech: The ability to respond to your questions and interactions in spoken language. PRSONAS has the ability to speak hundreds of languages. Your specific PRSONAS software will be configured to allow users to select between those languages you elect to support. Please follow the best practice identified in Item 1 above.

2) Sign Language: The ability to respond only in American Sign Language

We are particularly proud of this capability as we work passionately to provide this ability. So hard that we were awarded a patent for our PRSONAS delivery of sign language, and gesture communications in general. The ability to deliver your information in American Sign Language requires additional preproduction and usually upfront cost. Please ask your nuMedia representative about adding ASL to your project.

We hope you find the following table helpful in identifying which languages are currently support. We admit, that languages seem to be added to our capability on an almost weekly basis, so check back often and ask your PRSONAS representative if you need a language that is not listed below. There's a good chance it's either there, or will be added shortly.
